Current participants on this website training.digitalearthafrica.org have until 30 November 2021 to successfully complete all quizzes for certification. After 30 November 2021, certificates can be obtained by completing the Intro to Sandbox course on learn.digitalearthafrica.org. Read the blog to find out more.

29/09/2021: The Water Observations from Space (WOfS) dataset used in Session 6 can now be accessed by its new product name
wofs_ls. The session content and demonstration notebook have been updated. The deprecated productga_ls8c_wofs_2will slowly be phased out.01/06/2021: Digital Earth Africa Landsat datasets have been upgraded to USGS Collection 2. Datacube names have been updated to
ls5_sr,ls7_srandls8_sr. Deprecated naming conventions such asls8_usgs_sr_scenewill no longer work. Additionally, thedeafrica_toolspackage has replaced the deprecatedsys.path.append('../Scripts')file import.21/01/2021: Virtual live sessions run by our course convenors have resumed for 2021. 14/12/2020: An extra session on Python basics for geospatial analysis has been added. The session is optional, standalone, and provides a more detailed introduction to the Python programming language.
